Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

This website has no account system — there is no login, registration, or subscription. On the browser side we store only two preferences in your local storage:

• cslim-theme — remembers whether you chose the dark or light theme;
• cslim-lang — remembers whether you chose the Chinese or English interface.

Both values live only in your own browser; C-Slim never reads them and never sends them to any server. You can delete them any time by clearing site data in your browser settings.

2. The desktop tool itself

Every C-Slim script runs on your local machine and sends no data, logs, or telemetry to any server. Downloads are provided by GitHub, so downloading and visiting GitHub are governed by the GitHub Privacy Statement.

3. Cookies and advertising (AdSense)

This site currently serves no ads and is not integrated with Google AdSense. To make it easy to enable ads in the future, we explain the rules in advance:

If Google AdSense is enabled later, Google and its partners may use cookies (including the DoubleClick cookie) to serve ads based on your visits and to measure ad performance. You can then:

• Turn off personalized advertising at https://adssettings.google.com;
• Opt out of third-party ad cookies via https://aboutads.info.

Until ads are actually enabled, this section has no practical effect.

4. Hosting and logs

This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. As a CDN, Cloudflare may record routine information such as your IP address, User-Agent, and visit time for security and operations. These logs are handled by Cloudflare under its privacy policy; the C-Slim project does not separately collect or analyze them.

5. Children's privacy

This tool is aimed at Windows desktop users for managing local disk space. It is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from children.

6. Changes to this policy

If this privacy policy changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Significant changes will also be noted in the GitHub repository changelog.
